2021 Season Update
February 24, 2021: With the COVID uncertainty surrounding the upcoming softball season, we are not going to open registration quite yet as we would in a normal year. However, West Carleton Softball is definitely going to try to put something together for the 2021 season, based on guidelines and regulations from the City of Ottawa and the province and best practices for safe sport. We will post more information at a later date.
2020 Season Cancelled
With the COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Ottawa has closed all sportsfields until June 30 at the earliest. Unfortunately, this means the West Carleton Softball season for 2020 will have to be cancelled.
We look forward to getting back on the ball diamonds in 2021.
Softball Ontario Concussion Code of Conduct
West Carleton house league softball has five participating partners across the former Township of West Carleton, now part of the City of Ottawa.
WCSA organizes fastpitch softball for boys and girls ages 5 to 19. Games are played at participating community centres in West Carleton, with older age groups also participating against teams in other associations (McNab and Stittsville). The house league season runs from early May to late June.
